Abdullahi Adamu was born on 23 July 1946 and is a Nigerian politician who was the governor of Nasarawa State in Nigeria from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007.

Abdullahi Adamu is a member and former national chairman of the ruling Party All Progressives Congress.

Abdullahi Adamu was born at Keffi, Nasarawa State, on 23 July 1946.

Abdullahi Adamu attended the Government Secondary School, Makurdi, the Government Technical College, Bukuru and Kaduna Polytechnic.

Abdullahi Adamu returned to Kaduna Polytechnic for a Higher National Diploma in June 1971.
