Allen Dean Eberhard was born on May 10,1952 and is an American retired professional basketball player.


Out of rural Springville, Iowa and Springville High School, Al Eberhard was third team All-State in his senior year, graduating in 1970.


Al Eberhard was twice name as the MVP at the Big Eight Holiday Tournament and earned All Big Eight honors his junior and senior years.


Al Eberhard was drafted with the 15th pick in the first round of the 1974 NBA draft by the Detroit Pistons.
