Aliasgar Bin Haji Basri is a Malaysian politician currently living in Tuaran, Sabah, Malaysia.

Aliasgar Basri is married to Datin Hajjah Jumiah bt Ele and the couple is blessed with five children; a son and four daughters.

Besides contributing in politics, Aliasgar was a radio presenter for Radio Televisyen Malaysia for the Bajau as well as the Malay language sections via Sabah VFM and Sabah FM.
