Anatoly Sheludyakov was born in Moscow, Russia, where he completed his doctoral studies under professor Anatoly Vedernikov at the Gnesin Institute of Music.

Anatoly Sheludyakov graduated from the Moscow Conservatory where he studied composition with Tikhon Khrennikov.
