Kanneganti Brahmanandam was born on 1 February 1956 and is an Indian actor and comedian known for his work in Telugu cinema.

Brahmanandam has received numerous accolades, including six Nandi Awards and two Filmfare Awards, and was honoured with the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian award, in 2009.

Brahmanandam was awarded an honorary doctorate by Acharya Nagarjuna University.

Brahmanandam was born on 1 February 1956 in Chaganti Vari Palem village, Sattenapalli, Andhra Pradesh.
