Sir Brian Harold Donohoe was born on 10 September 1948 and is a former British Labour politician and former trade union official, who was the Member of Parliament for Central Ayrshire from 2005 until losing his seat in 2015.

Brian Donohoe later attended Kilmarnock Technical College, where he received a national certificate in Engineering in 1972.

Brian Donohoe was an apprentice fitter and turner at the Ailsa Shipyard in Troon from 1965, before becoming a draughtsman in 1969.
