Dieter Dierks was born on 9 February 1943 and is a German record producer, sound engineer, music publisher, studio owner and musician.

In cooperation with economist Hagen Backhaus, Dieter Dierks succeeded in securing a long-term contract with the Schlecker drugstore chain, which at the time had more than 8,000 affiliates in Germany, Austria and other countries.
