Sir Edward Seaborne Clouston, 1st Baronet was a Canadian banker and financier who became the General Manager of the Bank of Montreal.

Edward Clouston was born in Moose Factory to James Stewart Clouston, the last Chief Factor of the Hudson's Bay Company, and his wife Margaret, daughter of Robert Seaborn Miles, in his time Chief Factor for the HBC and Sheriff of Rupert's Land.

Edward Clouston's grandfather was agent for the HBC at Stromness on Orkney, where his family had lived since the end of the 17th century, descended from Richard Clouston, 16th of Clouston and Netherbigging, Stromness.

Edward Clouston became assistant general manager of the bank in 1887, general manager in 1890 and first vice-president in 1906.

Edward Clouston was elected president of the Canadian Bankers Association on several occasions and, in this capacity, advised successive Canadian Ministers of Finance.
