Edward Ofere was born on 28 March 1986 and is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a striker for FC Trelleborg in Division 3 Sodra Gotaland.

Edward Ofere made three appearances for the Nigeria U-23 in 2009.

At the point, Edward Ofere wanted to play football in Europe as he believed it would benefited his development than in Africa, leading to a trial at Allsvenskan side Malmo FF.
