In 2021, Ejaz Chaudhary was nominated by PTI to be its representative in the Senate of Pakistan representing Punjab.

Ejaz Chaudhary stated that the Taliban should not require Imran Khan to negotiate on their behalf, but rather members of the Taliban should involve themselves because the peace talks were more likely to come to fruition.
