Hendrik Jan Jacobus Talsma was born on 8 July 1978 and is a Dutch public prosecutor and politician.

Hendrik-Jan Talsma became a member of the Senate on behalf of the Christian Union in April 2021 due to his participation in the 2019 election.

Hendrik-Jan Talsma subsequently studied Dutch law at Utrecht University and earned his Master of Laws degree in 2001.
