Irene Lozano Domingo was born on 17 June 1971 and is a Spanish writer, journalist, and politician, who served as President of the Consejo Superior de Deportes and Secretary of State for Sports of Spain from 2020 to 2021 and as Secretary of State for Global Spain from 2018 to 2020 under Pedro Sanchez.
Irene Lozano was an MP for Union, Progress and Democracy in the 10th Cortes Generales of the Congress of Deputies from 13 December 2011 to 16 October 2015, when she was officially discharged.
