Jake Dennis was born on 16 June 1995 and is a British racing driver, who competes in Formula E for Andretti and serves as a factory driver for BMW.

Jake Dennis began his racing career in karting at the age of eight with Andy Cox Racing.

In 2011 Jake Dennis made his debut in single-seaters taking part in the new-for-2011 InterSteps championship for Fortec Motorsport, dominated in the championship and won the title with eight wins.

Jake Dennis continued his collaboration with Fortec for Formula Renault 2.0 NEC and Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0.

Dennis was nominated for the McLaren Autosport BRDC Award due to his performances in the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC series, Jake then went on to win the prestigious award, and became the youngest ever participant at only 17 years of age.
