Jarryd Lyons was born on 22 July 1992 and is a former professional Australian rules footballer who last played for the Brisbane Lions in the Australian Football League before his retirement in 2024.

Jarryd Lyons previously played for the Adelaide Football Club from 2011 to 2016 and the Gold Coast Suns from 2017 to 2018.

Jarryd Lyons was drafted with selection 61 in the 2010 AFL draft by Adelaide, having previously played for the Sandringham Dragons in the TAC Cup.

Jarryd Lyons did not play in his first AFL season, but showed good signs with South Australian National Football League side, Glenelg.

Jarryd Lyons played only three games in that season but continued to perform in the SANFL and could have played more if it hadn't been for an ill-timed foot injury.
