Joey Walker was previously part of the electronic duo Trumpdisco and indie rock band Love Migrate.

Joey Walker was born in Northern Australia and raised in the towns of Darwin, Kununurra, and Alice Springs, where he got into local indigenous rock bands such as Yothu Yindi and Warumpi Band when first getting into music.
