Johan Helge Dahlin was born on 8 September 1986 and is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Malmo FF.

Johan Dahlin began his senior career at Asebro IF in 2004.

In 2005, Dahlin was the third choice as goalkeeper behind Ali Al-Habsi and Nuno Marques.

Johan Dahlin made thirteen appearances in the first half of the 2006 season.

In 2007, Johan Dahlin acted mainly as a reserve for Eddie Gustafsson, making only four appearances all season, and it became clear that Gustafsson would be the first choice in goal in 2008.

Therefore, in a bid to receive playing time at a high level, Johan Dahlin agreed to a loan deal with Swedish side Trelleborgs FF.
