Nikolaos "Nikos" Dendias is a Greek lawyer and politician of the conservative New Democracy party.

Nikos Dendias is a Member of the Hellenic Parliament for Athens, and was Minister for National Defence from November 2014 to January 2015.

Nikos Dendias went to school in the Athens College, received a degree in law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a Master of Laws in Maritime and Insurance Law from the University College London and in Criminology from the London School of Economics.

Nikos Dendias was elected as an MP for Corfu in the Greek parliament in the 2004,2007,2009 and June 2012 elections.

Immediately after the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Nikos Dendias summoned the Russian ambassador to Greece to protest against the fact that Greek nationals were killed and six others wounded by Russian bombing near the Ukrainian city of Mariupol.

Nikos Dendias was received by his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu, and the two foreign ministers toured an operations centre coordinating rescue efforts in Antakya, observed the devastation to the city from the air, and visited a camp where international rescue teams are based.
