Sir Peter James Luff was born on 18 February 1955 and is a British former politician and previous Chair of the National Heritage Memorial Fund and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Peter Luff was a junior Defence minister from 2010 to 2012.

Peter Luff studied at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1976.

Peter Luff became the managing director of Good Relations Ltd, a public affairs company, in 1982.

Peter Luff became a senior consultant for Lowe Bell Communications in 1989, before again working for Good Relations from 1990.
