Petros Mantalos is a Greek international football player, who plays as an attacking midfielder for AEK Athens and the Greece national team.

Petros Mantalos began playing professional football for Super League club Skoda Xanthi.

Petros Mantalos played a total of 90 games in all competitions and represented his country at under-19 and under-21 levels.

Petros Mantalos's performances attracted the interest of Greek giants Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and AEK Athens, the latter club newly relegated from the Super League, bankrupt, and making a fresh start in the third-tier Football League 2.
