Ronald Allan East was an American football defensive tackle in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys, San Diego Chargers, Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks.

Ron East played college football at Oregon State University and Montana State University, following his completion of service to the United States Marine Corps.

Ron East was the State's javelin champion as a senior.
