Sayaka Yamamoto is a Japanese singer-songwriter signed to Universal Sigma.

Sayaka Yamamoto is a former member of the girl group NMB48, where she served as captain, and a former concurrent member of AKB48.

Sayaka Yamamoto made her debut as a solo artist in October 2016 with her first studio album "Rainbow" while she was still in NMB48, with her releases regularly placing in the top ten of the Oricon weekly charts since.

The youngest of four and influenced by her family's love for music, Sayaka Yamamoto started taking dance and singing classes in 2nd grade.

In September 2010, Sayaka Yamamoto passed auditions for the first generation of NMB48 and was selected to debut in the group along with 25 other girls.
