Aleksandra Lange Baryshnikov is the daughter of ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov and actress Jessica Lange.

Shura Baryshnikov is of Finnish descent through her maternal grandmother, of Russian descent through her father, and of German descent through her maternal grandfather.
