Stepan Chernovetskyi was born on 28 October 1978 and is a Ukrainian businessman, investor, founder of Chernovetskyi Investment Group.

In 1997, Stepan started working as a customer service manager at Pravex-Bank, established by his father Leonid Chernovetskyi, and then headed various departments of the bank, including the Main Department of the branch network.

Stepan Chernovetskyi negotiated the deal with an Italian banking group Intesa Sanpaolo.

In September 2008, at the shareholders' meeting, it was decided that Stepan would resign as the head of the bank's supervisory board.
