Steve-O's career is mostly centered on his shocking and pain-inducing stunts in the reality comedy television series Jackass and its related films Jackass: The Movie, Jackass Number Two, Jackass 3D, and Jackass Forever, as well as its spin-off series Wildboyz and Dr Steve-O.

Steve-O's mother, Donna Gay Glover, was Canadian, and his father, Richard Edward "Ted" Glover, is an American of English descent.
