Tauseef Ahmed was born on 10 May 1958 and is a former Pakistani cricketer who played in 34 Test matches and 70 One Day Internationals between 1980 and 1993.

Tauseef Ahmed made his first-class debut in early 1979 for Public Works Department against Pakistan International Airlines that was to remain his only first-class game for just over a year until his neighbor, Javed Sadiq, managed to get him a chance to bowl at the Pakistani tail-enders before the 1980 Karachi test against Australia.
