Terence George was born on 20 December 1952 and is an Irish screenwriter and director.

Terry George was nominated for two Academy Awards: Best Adapted Screenplay for In the Name of the Father, and Best Original Screenplay for Hotel Rwanda, winning an Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film for The Shore.
