Anthony Thorpe was born on 10 April 1974 and is an English former professional footballer and manager of Melton Town.

Tony Thorpe notably played for Luton Town, Bristol City and Queens Park Rangers.

Tony Thorpe played in the Football League for Reading, Rotherham United, Swindon Town, Colchester United and Grimsby Town.

Tony Thorpe began his career at Leicester City, but he was transferred to Luton Town in August 1992.

Tony Thorpe took time to adapt as Ashton Gate, and he was then sent out on loan to Reading and back to Luton twice.
