Afdlin Shauki bin Aksan was born on 19 May 1971 and is a Malaysian producer, screenwriter, director, actor, comedian, singer, songwriter, and television presenter and politician.

Afdlin Shauki has performed in one of the most respected jazz clubs in Europe such as Ronnie Scott's, as an opening act for Sheila Majid for her 1996 UK Tour.
