David Lopez was born on June 3,1951 and is a former American telecommunications executive who served as the Oklahoma Secretary of State after having previously served as the Oklahoma Secretary of Commerce under Republican Governor of Oklahoma Mary Fallin.

In January, 2018, Dave Lopez' duties were expanded and his title was changed to Secretary of State, Education and Workforce Development.
