Gregory James Tansey was born on 21 November 1988 and is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder.

Greg Tansey left Stockport in June 2011, joining Scottish Premier League side Inverness Caledonian Thistle on a free transfer.

Greg Tansey was strongly linked with a move to Charlton Athletic, but eventually signed a new two-year deal with Stockport in August 2007.
